Dental radiography is an excellent diagnostic tool for helping the doctor make critical decisions about the health of your pet’s teeth. We use digital radiography that gives us immediate answers and limits the time your pet is under anesthesia.
Once the technician has performed the oral exam and has checked each tooth for evidence of periodontal pocketing, gingival recession and signs of decay, the doctor can better determine the need to perform x-rays. X-ray gives us valuable information about the tooth in question as well as the surrounding teeth and tissue.
